The Akhilanda Women’s Foundation

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to create an alliance of supported and empowered women walking side by side. We achieve this by strengthening the connection and transformative power between women, cultivating integrity through profound transparency, and awakening courage and freedom to become their authentic selves.

Our Foundation is named after the Hindu goddess Akhilanda, meaning never not broken. She teaches us that there is power in our pain and that we have the strength and ability to put ourselves back together again and again; we can rebuild ourselves into who we wish to be.

HOW WE SUPPORT

 

GRANTS

We provide vital funding to organizations that give women the spaces and tools to advance meaningful change in their lives. Our financial support makes it possible for women from all different backgrounds and circumstances to benefit immeasurably from healing and sisterhood and experience guidance and connection that kick-starts their personal revolution.

OPPORUNITIES

We fund and create places for retreats and educational programs so that women can have the best possible chance of thriving in places they otherwise wouldn’t have access to. Our support has opened essential new pathways for the women who participate, from enabling Afghan teenagers to go to school safely to making healing possible for single mothers.

COLLABORATIONS

We partner with women’s groups, not-for-profits, and experts to co-create expansive personal development programs and heart-centered wellbeing retreats. In addition, we produce hard-hitting social awareness films, documentaries, and content that bring to light the crucial stories of women that have previously been left untold.

The Akhilanda Women’s Foundation makes it possible for women to truly thrive, regardless of socioeconomic barriers.
